Out there shifting stones
Planting yet more flowers
Listening to the birds
Never count the hours

Turning up the worms
Busy in the soil
Aches and pains be darned
It never feels like toil

Just now from my window
The small one in the hall
After a nice gentle rain
Looked down to see it all

Rings of stone protecting
Assorted flower beds
Tell all the little children
Here's where flowers lay their heads

Please don't move the stones
They're protecting growing things
If you leave them safely
Soon the roses spread their wings

The yard, it looks so pretty
Black soil, pink flowers, green lawn
But one thing really stood right out
The new pattern of the stones

An accidental heart
Stones moved for a new flower
Adorns my lovely yard
I can't believe God's power

He slipped a brand new heart in
Right underneath my nose
I didn't even notice
While rearranging those

It wasn't 'til I looked out
That tiny window now
And saw the big heart outlined
By the bench down there below

I didn't even see it
While I was in the yard
And now I feel so very blessed
By an accidental Heart
