FACE OF WORLD EVENTS
In the
face of world events
Why do
I even care
That another
friend has proven false
And is
no longer there
Why should
it even matter
While
wildfires rage through homes
What does
my pain matter
Who cares
if I'm alone
In the
face of world events
Be centered,
focused, strong
Forget
about those petty ones
Who've
done you any wrong
Pray and
pray for this whole world
Love with
all your heart
And every
time it's broken
You have
to push restart
There are
many heartfelt poems
'Bout
love one to another
Why not
love the whole wide world
The Earth,
who is our Mother
Put aside
the wrongs and hurts
Of your
one tiny life
Concentrate
on bigger things
Put this
world to right
Stop killing
all the unborn
Don't
lie to hide the truth
Lay down
all your weapons
If not,
then we all lose
Pray and
pray for this whole world
Love with
all your heart
And every
time it's broken
You have
to push restart
