Just need to make somebody happy
See a smile to greet my own
Find a love warm and relaxed
Something I have seldom known
 

Is there really someone out there
Half of me who will complete
The song that is my own soul's meaning
Someone I won't have to delete
 

Let him come then, if he's out there
Let him walk up to my door
See my face and light right up
His reflection at my core
 

Just want to make this someone happy
Light his life as he'll light mine
Bask in glowing thoughts about him
Love him 'til the end of time
